About Me 🎷🎤I’m a jazz saxophonist, flautist, vocalist, arranger and composer with a lifelong love of melody and rhythm. My journey into Bossa Nova began in 2005 — captivated by the lilting melodies of Jobim, the whispered vocals of João Gilberto, and the quiet elegance of Brazilian harmony.
While I trained in jazz performance and composition, I’ve always been drawn to music with emotional depth and cultural soul. The New Wave brought both — with its poetic restraint, warm intimacy, and gentle sense of longing. My performances blend authentic Brazilian repertoire with original arrangements, weaving sax and flute-led interpretations that are rooted in tradition but shaped by my own story — from classical beginnings in the west country to late-night jam sessions in London, Manchester conservatories and summer gigs under the stars.
